Jen Tobin
Jen brings more than 35 years of insurance experience to Western Assurance Associates. Raised in Albuquerque, she believes insurance should never feel one-size-fits-all. What makes Western different to her is the experienced Albuquerque-based team behind it—real people who take the time to have actual conversations, understand each client’s needs, and provide one-on-one guidance throughout the insurance process.
In a world that is becoming increasingly automated, Jen is committed to keeping Western personal. Clients know that when they call, they can reach someone who knows them, answers their questions, and values building relationships that last.
Outside the office, Jen enjoys riding horses along the Bosque. One of her most memorable experiences was a recent trip to Ireland, where she had the opportunity to explore the country on horseback.

John Trujillo
John has worked in insurance for more than 10 years, helping clients with both personal and commercial coverage. Born and raised in Albuquerque, he values building long-term relationships and helping clients feel confident that their coverage fits their needs.
Outside the office, John is passionate about cars, drifting, and anything automotive. He owns several imported vehicles and is currently building his dream car—an R34 Skyline he imported from Japan. That firsthand experience makes him especially knowledgeable when helping clients with collector, classic, import, and specialty vehicles.
He’s also an avid golfer and enjoys being able to play nearly year-round in Albuquerque.

Raquel Ramirez

Raquel has worked in property and casualty insurance for more than 20 years, helping clients understand their coverage and making the insurance process feel less complicated. Raised in Albuquerque, she takes the time to understand each client’s needs and enjoys helping people feel confident in the protection they choose.
Clients appreciate Raquel’s personal approach, attention to detail, and willingness to be there when questions come up. She also speaks Spanish, allowing her to assist more families and businesses throughout the community.
Outside the office, Raquel enjoys working out, hiking, and exploring New Mexico with her pup. She especially appreciates Albuquerque’s weather and the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors throughout much of the year.
